Pakistani folk singer Shaukat Ali passes away

Veteran folk singer, Shaukat Ali has passed away.

Geo News reports that the singer’s health had deteriorated and was undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore. His son, Ameer Shaukat Ali confirmed that funeral prayers will be offered today in Lahore.

Shaukat had faced multiple medical issues, including diabetes and a liver transplant.
