Pakistani actress Kismat Baig shot dead

Pakistani actress Kismat Baig has been shot dead by an unidentified gunman in Lahore.

Times Of India reports that Baig was returning home after a stage performance when a gunman opened fire at her yesterday. Her driver’s health is said to be stable.

Police described the shooting as a “target killing.”

Earlier this year, Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch was killed in a so-called “honour” killing.
