The Pakistan Super League 2020 (PSL) has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Pakistan Cricket Board announced that the finals of the Twenty20 tournament will be rescheduled. Incidentally, the PSL was in its final stages and the board had brought forward the finals by four days. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium was due to host the two semifinals on Tuesday and the final on Wednesday.
A number of foreign players, who were playing the franchise, had left the country due to global restrictions on immigration and flights.
Earlier, a test match and one-day international between Pakistan and Bangladesh was postponed.
