Pakistan ratings: Geo Network leads the way

The monthly data for Pakistan TV networks saw Geo Network lead the way in May.

Official information provided by MediaLogic shows, Geo Network’s four channels – Geo Entertainment, Geo News, Geo Super and Aag rule the chart with a market share of 8.82 per cent. Geo News was the broadcaster’s most watched channel with a solo share of 3.2 per cent.

ARY Network was in second with its six channels in Pakistan raking in a share of 6.67 per cent, with ARY Digital way ahead with 4.1 per cent. Its ARY News channel could only manage 1.3 per cent.

Out of the two networks above, Geo Network had the most watched news channel in Pakistan, whereas ARY Network had ARY Digital as the most viewed entertainment channel. Both network’s music channels – Aag and ARY Musik had the same share of 0.1 per cent.

Hum TV Network was third with its four channels with 3.10 per cent share, followed by CNBC Network (2.40 per cent) and Express Network (2.11 per cent).
