Pakistan domestic cricket live on PTV Global
PTV Global has snapped the UK television rights to broadcast the domestic Twenty20 cricket matches featuring some prominent Pakistani players.
The series, which started earlier this week, will air until Sunday 11th September. Some if the names participating in the matches include NasirJamsheed, Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif, Misbha Ul Haq, Shahid Afridi, Imran Nazir,Bilwal Bhutti, Saeed Ajmal, Muhammad Sami, Fawad Alam, Ahmad Shehzad.
PTV Global’s coverage begins at 12:00 each match day until 19:00. Each match is being repeated at midnight.
As well as this, PTV Global is said to be in talks to secure the lucrative Pakistan Super League. However, it will have to wait for sometime as Prime TV currently holds the UK rights until 2018.
PTV Global has a weekly reach of around 200,000 viewers in UK ratings and has steadily been increasing. It is available free to air on Sky channel 803.
