‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ already had a buzz surrounding it but since the late Yash Chopra’s untimely death, it seems excitement about the film is sky high. However, due to certain parts of the story, the film may never see a release in Pakistan. It is thought the final decision lies with the Pakistan Censor board who are yet to see the film in its entirety.

It is being suggested that Shah Rukh Khan’s armypersonnel activities in Kashmir that are being shown in the filmare the reason behind the possible ban. A source spoke about the issue, according to Times of India, “The movie shows SRK as part of a bomb disposal squad in the Indian Army who is up to some serious action in Kashmir, which may be the reason it might be banned”.

Other 2012 releases which didn’t pass the censor board of Pakistan include ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Agent Vinod’.
