Pahlaj Nihalani replaces Kangna Ranaut for dream project?

He was supposed to be the one to launch Kangna Ranaut in 2006, however, after she quit the project at the last minute things seemed to have turned sour between the actress and Pahlaj Nihalani. News now has it, that the filmmaker had finally found another actress to play the lead in his dream project titled ‘I Love You Boss’.

According to Deccan Chronicle, despite Ranaut having walked out of the project, at the time Nihalani vowed not to cast another actress for the role. However, it seems now he will be going ahead with the movie with newcomer Mishika Chowdhary.

“I couldn’t imagine any other actress except Kangana in that role in ‘I Love You Boss’ until now. When Mishika worked with me in Rangeela Raja, I realised I had finally found the girl to replace Kangana in my favourite subject. Let me make a prediction:  Mishika will not only be a suitable replacement for Kagana, but she will also prove herself  to be as good an actress as Kangana, if not more,” Nihalani was reported stating.

Talking of Ranaut walking out of the film back then, the film maker expressed, ” ‘I Love You Boss’ is the subject closest to my heart. It was meant to be Kangna Ranaut’s launch film. We had finalised everything. We had even done a photo shoot and the media couldn’t stop talking about the new girl that I was launching. Then Kangna decided she preferred to be launched by Mahesh Bhatt and quit the film.”

Looks like Ranaut’s exit from the film may have been a blessing in disguise.
