The first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ has created waves as expected. However, the film has been surrounded by controversy ever since its shoot began. After the filmmaker himself was attacked in Jaipur earlier this year, Karni Sena are now burning posters of the film in the same region.
Bollywood Hungama reports that the Karni Sena members gathered outside Raj Mandir theatre in Jaipur and have been ripping ans setting fire to posters of the film. Narain Singh Divrala, district head of Karni Sena, said that Bhansali had made a promise that he’d show members the film but he hasn’t contacted them since so they are now unhappy.
He further added that if they aren’t shown the film before its release on 1st December, they will not allow the release of the film.
