ZEE TV’s newly launched “early” primetime schedule has resulted in positive numbers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The channel has brought back its original primetime shows to start at 16:00 as of Monday 21st June. This will see original flagship shows ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and others being aired in the early afternoon – a first for any major Hindi broadcaster.
‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 17:00 and 17:30 were top rated shows on the channel on Monday with 17,900 viewers and 19,500 viewers respectively.
The channel registered a share of 0.04% – higher than usual. Sony TV was top Asian TV channel with a share of 0.16%, followed by Utsav Plus with 0.15%.
