Overnights: ZEE TV & ZEE Cinema impress on Saturday in UK
ZEE Network’s two flagship channels, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema impressed in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
Movies and reality TV shows boosted the output on ZEE TV with ‘Dance India Dance’ on top with 26,800 viewers, followed by movies ‘Tamasha’ at 15:00 with 18,800 viewers and ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’ at 11:30 with 7,100 viewers. New show ‘Super Hit’ featuring ‘Woh Apna Sa’ attracted 3,100 viewers at 21:30 and ‘Juzzbaat’ at 19:00 with 1,200 viewers. The channel’s share stood at 0.09%.
ZEE Cinema also did well with a share of 0.08%. Movie ‘Mard’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh was top film with 16,600 viewers, followed by ‘Kai Po Che’ at 15:30 with 14,800 viewers.
Star Plus ultimately remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel with a share of 0.14%. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ reigned at 19:30 with 120,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 87,300 viewers and ‘Ikyawann’ at 18:30 with 62,300 viewers.
Hum TV continued to perform strongly with a share of 0.11%. ‘Rehai’ got huge ratings for the channel with 83,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Khamoshi’ at 20:00 with 39,800 viewers.
Colors raked in a share of 0.05% with ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 pulling in 20,300 viewers, followed by ‘IIFA Awards’ at 16:00 with 14,400 viewers.
Sony Entertainment Television and Sony MAX registered a share of 0.04%. However, its secondary channel, Sony SAB TV did better with a share of 0.06%.
