Overnights: ZEE TV overtakes Colors & Sony TV on Wednesday in UK

After a dull performance of late, ZEE TV pushed ahead with better share numbers on Wednesday in UK ratings, beating arch-rivals, Colors and Sony Entertainment Television, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

ZEE TV clocked up a share of 0.04%, with ‘Khana Khazana’ at midday topping ratings with 15,800 viewers, followed by ‘Piyaa Albela’ repeat at 14:30 with 13,500 viewers and ‘Dance India Dance’ repeat at 13:00 with 12,500 viewers.

Colors was down considerably to a share of just 0.02%, while its popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’ stayed lower than usual. It fetched 19,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 8,700 viewers and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 22:30 with 8,100 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television fell to a share of 0.01%, with ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 fetching 15,900 viewers.

Star Plus stayed the ultimate leader despite its share falling to 0.18%. It was still clearly ahead with shows like ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 bringing in 108,700 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 76,600 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 75,600 viewers.

Hum Masala claimed the second spot with a share of 0.08% and Hum TV in third with 0.07% share. Hum TV’s top rated show on Wednesday was ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 36,700 viewers, followed by ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 19:30 with 33,700 viewers and ‘Dar Si Jati Hai Sila’ at 20:00 with 32,000 viewers.

Geo TV delivered a share of 0.05%. Its top show on Thursday was ‘Geo Subh-e-Pakistan’ at 09:00 with 23,900 viewers.

ZEE Cinema was top Bollywood movie channel with a share of 0.04%.
