Overnights: ZEE TV edges pass Sony TV on Monday in UK

The UK ratings war between ZEE TV and Sony Entertainment Television proved a close one on Monday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

While Sony TV did well during primetime, ZEE TV’s average share for the whole of Monday was a little higher, putting the two old rivals neck and neck. The top rated show on ZEE TV was a ZEE News bulletin, which aired at 17:30 pulling in 13,400 viewers, followed by ‘Woh Apna Sa’ at 19:30 with 13,300 viewers, ‘ZEE Companion’ at 18:00 with 10,500 viewers and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 21:30 with 8,600 viewers. The channel’s all-day share stood at 0.3%, while its primetime (19:00 – 23:00) fetched just 0.02%.

Sony TV’s top rated show was ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ at 19:00 with 16,200 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol Dial 100’ at 22:00 with 11,600 viewers, ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ at 20:30 with 6,900 viewers and ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ at 21:30 with 2,100 viewers. The channel’s all day share stood at 0.02%, while its primetime (19:00 – 23:00) fetched 0.04%.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ remained the UK’s top show with 95,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 87,300 viewers and new show ‘Chakravyuh’ at 18:00 with 75,300 viewers. ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 pulled in 68,400 viewers and ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ at 20:00 with 67,600 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Meri Durga’ did well with 48,500 viewers at 12:30, followed by ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ at 14:00 with 20,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swabhimaan’ delivered 19,900 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 22:30 with 18,700 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 15,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led with 31,200 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Bhaag Bakool Bhaag’ at 20:00, ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 and ‘Main Teri Parchai Hoon’ at 22:30 all raking in 24,300 viewers each.

On &TV, ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ at 20:00 delivered 39,800 viewers, followed by ‘Agnifera’ at 19:00 with 34,000 viewers and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 33,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mohabbat Khwab Safar’ at 22:00 led the slot with 49,200 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Raha Dil’ at 20:00 with 33,200 viewers and ‘Halki Si Khalish’ at 21:00 with 33,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Bholi Bano’ at 21:00 with 7,100 viewers topped ratings.

On Sony MAX, ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ at 16:30 led with 1,600 viewers, followed by ‘Love Aaj Aur Kal’ at 20:00 with 1,300 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Dil Dhadakane Do’ at 19:00 attracted 4,900 viewers.
