Overnights: ZEE Cinema shoots to No.1 on Sunday with record ratings in UK

ZEE Cinema shot to No.1 overtaking all Asian TV rivals on Sunday, with record ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

ZEE Cinema claimed victory with a share of 0.16% – more than any other Asian TV channel. Its biggest films on Sunday were ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ at 15:00 with 42,700 viewers, followed by ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ at 18:00 with 26,600 viewers, ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ at 11:45 with 23,300 viewers and ‘Do Phool’ at 08:45 with 14,800 viewers.

ZEE Cinema performed exceptionally well in UK ratings at the weekend. ‘Raazi’ premiere on Saturday delivered huge ratings also. See here.

Star Plus was the most watched General Entertainment Channel on Sunday with ‘Dance+ 4’ pulling in 58,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 40,000 viewers and ‘Koffee With Karan’ at 19:00 with 13,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ delivered 51,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 23:00 with 15,900 viewers, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 12:30 with 17,700 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 11:30 with 17,100 viewers.

On ZEE TV, the final of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ at 20:00 attracted 18,100 viewers, followed by movie ‘Swades’ at 15:30 with 12,100 viewers and ‘Out & About’ at 15:00 with 6,900 viewers.

On Star Bharat, ‘Badhaai Ho’ at 16:00 delivered 24,200 viewers, followed by ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’s Kitchen’ at 18:30 with 11,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 pulled in 24,200 viewers, followed by ‘Naagin 3’ at 20:00 with 7,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Dil Kya Karay’ repeat at 11:00 pulled in 15,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bojh’ at 10:00 was watched by 9,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Tajeed-e-Wafa’ at 20:00 was watched 11,400 viewers, followed by ‘Zidd’ at 21:00 with 7,900 viewers.

On Star Gold, premiere of ‘Helicopter Eela’ at 21:00 was watched by 17,000 viewers.

On Rishtey Cineplex, premiere of ‘Baazaar’ at 20:00 pulled in 19,700 viewers.
