Overnights: ZEE Cinema clinches No.1 spot in UK ratings on Sunday

ZEE Cinema beat all Asian TV channels on Sunday to clinch the No.1 position in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel got one of its biggest shares ever by delivering 0.10%. Shah Rukh Khan’s thriller ‘Don 2’ at 15:00 was the biggest film across all Asian TV networks with 44,000 viewers – It peaked further to 54,600 viewers. The movie ‘Dhamaal’ also on ZEE Cinema proved a big attraction. It was watched by 20,800 viewers at 12:15.

ZEE Cinema was the most watched Asian TV channel on Sunday, beating Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television and New Vision TV, all clocking up 0.08% share.

ZEE Cinema was also ahead of movie channels with Rishtey Cineplex delivering 0.04%, B4U Movies and Star Gold with 0.02% and Sony MAX with 0.01%.
