Overnights: ‘Zebaish’ gives ratings surge to Hum TV on Friday in UK

Sony TV continued to lead UK ratings on Friday, while new series ‘Zebaish’ on Hum TV was the No.1 show overall, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.11%, followed by New Vision TV with 0.08%, Hum TV with 0.06%, Star Plus and Star Gold with 0.05%, Hum Masala and Colors Cineplex with 0.04%, Sony MAX, Geo News, B4U Movies, Aaj Tak and Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, Geo TV, Colors, Sony SAB TV, ABP News, NDTV 24×7, Venus TV, Republic Bharat and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.01%.

Hum TV strengthened its position with new series ‘Zebaish’, which clocked up 64,400 viewers at 20:00 – making it the No.1 show across all Asian TV networks. Final episode of ‘Mehboob Apke Qadmon Mein’ attracted 20,200 viewers and ‘Wafa Kar Chalay’ with 12,600 viewers.

Sony TV’s biggest shows on Friday were ‘Indian Idol 10′ at 18:00 with 40,900 viewers, followed by ’10 Ka Dum’ at 20:00 with 25,800 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 24,500 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ was watched by 19,900 viewers at 15:30, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 17,900 viewers and ‘Ramayan’ at 20:00 with 8,000 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Angrezi Medium’ raked in 20,000 viewers and ‘Patiala House’ at 13:00 with 6,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Mahabharat’ led with 15,700 viewers at 20:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Jodha Akbar’ pulled in 4,100 viewers at 18:30.
