Overnights: ‘YRKKH’ notches up biggest ratings of year on Friday in UK
Star Plus’ longest-running show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ delivered its biggest ratings of 2019 so far on Friday in UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The show, which airs at 21:30 on Star Plus, shot up to 74,300 viewers – making it not only the most watched show on the channel but also across all Asian TV networks. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 was in second with 51,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 41,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 24,800 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 21,100 viewers.
Overall, Star Gold ruled UK ratings on Friday with its IPL 2019 coverage. The match between Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders at 15:20 pulled in 52,400 viewers. The channel’s share was at 0.15%, followed by Star Plus with 0.14%, Hum TV with 0.11%, Colors Rishtey with 0.07%, New Vision TV, ZEE Cinema and Sony TV with 0.06%, Geo TV with 0.04%, ZEE TV with 0.02% and Colors with 0.01%.
On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ led with 39,400 viewers at 18:45, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 22,600 viewers and ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 19,800 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Man Mohini’ topped ratings with 14,400 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ at 21:30 with 10,800 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Silsila’ was biggest show with 15,600 viewers, followed by ‘Roop’ at 21:30 with 6,700 viewers.
