Overnights: ‘YRKKH’ leap gives Star Plus ratings spike on Monday in UK

Star Plus claimed victory over its rivals on Monday in the UK, with an impressive jump in its figures, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus registered a share of 0.18%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.13%, New Vision TV with 0.09%, PTC Punjabi with 0.07%, ZEE TV with 0.06%, Hum TV and Colors with 0.05%, Sony SAB TV with 0.03%, Samaa TV with 0.04%, Sony MAX 2 with 0.03%, Colors and ARY Family with 0.02% and Geo TV with 0.01%.

The highly publicised five-year generation leap in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ witnessed a surge in its viewership on Monday, with 72,800 viewers tuning in at 21:30. However, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ continued to rule with 84,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 58,000 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 47,600 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 43,500 viewers, ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 41,000 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 31,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 led with 47,800 viewers, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 44,600 viewers and ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 39,000 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rajaa Betaa’ got its biggest ratings of the series with 30,100 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 19:00 with 14,400 viewers and ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ at 21:00 with 14,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Inkaar’ was watched by 18,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bharam’ at 22:00 with 11,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ at 22:30 delivered 12,000 viewers, followed by ‘Gathbandhan’ repeat at midnight with 5,300 viewers.
