‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ gets boost on Star Plus

The hugely popular series ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was back in pole position in UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 19:30 pulled in 203,000 viewers – peaking at 213,000 viewers – making it the most watched show on UK Asian television last night. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 was in second place with 162,500 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Mera Hero’ at 20:00 with its biggest ever audience with 119,900 viewers. The new show ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ at 22:00 opened up averagely with 75,600 viewers – peaking at 83,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Udaan’ impressed with 80,900 viewers – peaking at 98,400 viewers, followed by ‘Shastri Sisters’ with 77,300 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 21:00 with 38,600 viewers. The new show ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 launched with 27,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ stayed top with 52,300 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 48,000 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 21:00 making its debut with 47,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ek Pal’ at 20:00 raked in 39,800 viewers, followed by ‘Parsa’ with 23,600 viewers at 21:00.

On Zing, movie ‘Judaai’ starring Anil Kaporo and Sridevi, did well with 22,500 viewers – peaking at 66,000 viewers.
