Overnights: ‘Ye Dil Mera’ rocks Wednesday in UK; Sony TV leads overall

Hum TV’s blockbuster series ‘Ye Dil Mera’ rocked UK ratings on what was a sluggish day for UK Asian TV channels on Wednesday, while Sony TV took a marginal lead, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.06%, followed by Star Plus, Hum TV, Geo TV, Colors Cineplex and ZEE Cinema with 0.05%, Colors Rishtey and New Vision TV with 0.04%, Sony MAX and Sony SAB TV with 0.03%, Colors, Sony MAX 2, Geo News, ZEE TV, Star Bharat, Dunya News, Samaa TV, B4U Music, Aaj Tak and Star Gold with 0.02%.

Hum TV’s weekly fiction ‘Ye Dil Mera’ impressed with the biggest audience for a show on Wednesday. It was watched by 53,100 viewers at 20:00. The channel’s other shows did not perform as strongly, with ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’ repeat at 16:05 pulled in 8,600 viewers.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions on Wednesday were ‘Crime Patrol’ at 01:30 with 26,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 00:30 and 14:30 with 20,400 viewers and 16,300 viewers respectively and ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:30 with 14,400 viewers and ‘Beyhadh 2’ at 22:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Radhakrishn’ at 19:30 led with 17,400 viewers, followed by ‘Cook Smart’ at 12:30 with 17,300 viewers, ‘Maharaj Ji Jai Ho’ at 16,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 20:30 with 15,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Deewangi’ led with 24,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Munafiq’ at 19:00 with 19,700 viewers and ‘Shab-e-Maghferat’ at 00:00 with 12,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ was watched by 9,300 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai’ at 21:00 with 9,000 viewers and ‘Baarish’ at 20:30 with 7,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Shubharambh’ at 20:30 topped ratings with 7,800 viewers.

On Colors Cineplex, ‘Izzat Ki Roti’ was watched by 9,600 viewers at 11:45.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Vivah’ pulled in 15,700 viewers at 21:00.
