Overnights: ‘Welcome 2’ opens well on Star Life Ok

The Indian adaption of ‘Come Dine With Me’ opened up well for Star Life Ok last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The second season of ‘Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Naawazi Ki’, which featured members of the public rather than celebrities pulled in 29,800 viewers at 22:00 – making it the most watched show on the channel. ‘Savdhaan India’ was next with 28,200 viewers. The two-hour Holi special proved disappointing with just 11,000 viewers tuning in at 20:00.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ claimed back the lead in the UK Asian TV ratings with 174,600 viewers – peaking at 201,300 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Bhabhi’ with 152,300 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ next with 147,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘BeIntehaa’ continued to lead on the channel with 55,900 viewers, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ at 21:30 with 54,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ brought in 97,700 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 91,600 viewers and ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 83,400 viewers.
