Overnights: ‘Veera’ & ‘IPKKND 2’ do well in new slots

The popular shows ‘Veera’ and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ continued to do well last night in UK Asian TV ratings despite being moved out of primetime earlier this year.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Veera’ at 17:00 fetched 97,200 viewers and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ at 17:30 raked in 97,300 viewers – making both shows the third and fourth most watched shows respectively yesterday on UK Asian television. Both shows got a bigger audience than other primetime offerings on Star Plus and other channels. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 remained top show with 143,600 viewers, while ‘Saathiya’ took second place with 127,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 took lead with 43,500 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 with 31,200 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 21:00 with 26,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Warrior High’ led with 43,500 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 40,100 viewers and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 19:30 with 36,800 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 43,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali’ at 19:30 with 10,800 viewers and ‘Mahakumbh’ at 20:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 was in pole position with 23,900 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 20,800 viewers and ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’ at 21:00 with 12,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Na Kaho Tum Meray Nahi’ top with 38,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Sartaj Mera To Raaj Mera’ at 19:30 with 22,800 viewers and ‘Dayar-E-Dil’ repeat at 22:00 with 19,100 viewers.
