Overnights: UK 44 impresses in Wednesday ratings

Barely a year old, UK 44 has fast become one of the most watched South Asian news channels, with last night’s viewing data putting it ahead of some of its bigger rivals, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

UK 44 was only slightly behind New Vision TV last night, which led the South Asian news genre in the UK. New Vision TV scored an average share of 0.05% all-day, followed by UK 44 with 0.04%, Dunya News with 0.04%, Geo News with 0.03% and Samaa TV with 0.02%.

UK 44 had the strongest primetime viewership with an average 8,300 viewers between 19:00 – 23:00 last night, followed by New Vision TV, Geo News and Dunya News.
