Overnights: &TV’s ‘Welcome Back’ beats ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on Sunday

The free-to-air television premiere of ‘Welcome Back’ on &TV yesterday afternoon proved to be a lot more successful than the repeat telecast of blockbuster ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on Colors.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com, ‘Welcome Back’ scored 11,600 viewers between 15:00 – 18:00 – peaking at 21,400 viewers, while on Colors’ ‘Bajirao Mastani’ could only muster in an average of under 1,000 viewers between 13:30 and 17:00 – peaking at 4,900 viewers. However, the biggest show on &TV was ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 18:30 with 18,000 viewers, followed by movie ‘Welcome’ at 11:30 with 4,200 viewers and movie ‘Bol Radha Bol’ at 21:30 with 3,600 viewers.

Colors’ biggest show on Sunday night was ‘India’s Got Talent’ at 22:30 with 11,300 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights Live’ at 23:30 with 6,100 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 18:30 with 4,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ stayed on top with 113,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 108,800 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 78,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led at 18:30 with 23,000 viewers, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 11,300 viewers and ‘Love School’ at 20:30 with 6,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Udaari’ was biggest show with one of its biggest ever audiences. It was watched by 87,200 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 115,600 viewers, followed by ‘Akbar Asghari’ at 22:00 with 31,100 viewers, ‘Ramaadan Package’ at 21:00 with 27,800 viewers and ‘Sawab’ at 21:30 with 18,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Iftaar Transmission’ at 18:00 averaged with 10,700 viewers, followed by ‘Dekho Chand Aaya’ at 23:00 with 6,900 viewers.
