‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ tops &TV ratings

The combination of rising popularity of its fictions and movie ‘Vivah’ was enough to give &TV a push in Tuesday UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The most watched show on the channel was ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:00 with 44,400 viewers – peaking at 61,800 viewers. The show has been performing exceptionally well since it was moved from 19:30 last month. ‘Gangaa’ at 19:30 registered 28,300 viewers during its 60-minute slot. Movie ‘Vivah’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, was the most watched Bollywood film on UK Asian television with 30,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ remained the most watched show with 208,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 138,200 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 19:00 with 138,200 viewers. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 fetched 92,400 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 89,300 viewers.

On UMP Movies, the UK television premiere of comedy ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ at 21:00 delivered 14,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ remained the most watched show on the channel with 60,200 viewers, followed by ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 with 45,700 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ both raked in 37,400 viewers at 20:30 and 20:00 respectively.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was top with 67,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 61,000 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 55,500 viewers. ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 raked in 54,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Preet Na Kariyo Koi’ at 20:00 registered 54,700 viewers, followed by ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’ at 21:00 with 17,000 viewers and ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ at 22:00 with 14,300 viewers.
