‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ on &TV gave a surprising lead in the 20:30 slot beating market leader, Star Plus, on Tuesday night in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The comedy show was watched by an impressive 53,100 viewers at 20:30 – peaking at a record 79,500 viewers. It beat all Asian channels in the 20:30 slot. It may not have done as well in other slots but was still ahead of Colors with ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 18,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 with 18,900 viewers and ‘Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai’ at 21:30 with 14,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 remained the nation’s favourite show with 116,700 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 94,500 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 86,200 viewers.

On Colors, the biggest show was ‘Ashoka’ at 22:10 with 9,700 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Swaragini’ at 22:40 with 8,200 viewers and ‘Krishndasi’ at 21:30 with 7,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was watched by 44,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 44,200 viewers and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ at 21:00 with 23,800 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Khwab Saraye’ at 22:00 fetched 37,800 viewers, followed by ‘Sawab’ at 21:30 with 20,200 viewers and ‘Zara Yaad Kar’ at 20:00 with 18,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Iftaar Transmission’ at 18:00 pulled in 8,200 viewers – peaking at 27,000 viewers during the course of the four hours.
