‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ on &TV

&TV brought in record ratings for its movie blockbuster ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ yesterday, while Hum TV and Star Plus also did considerably well.

According to exclusive data for Sunday, obtained by BizAsia, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, which aired between 15:30 and 19:00 yesterday pulled in a huge 60,900 viewers – peaking at 102,200 viewers. This was the first time the 1994 cult classic was broadcast free-to-air in HD. Earlier in the afternoon ‘Khoobsurat’ starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan delivered 8,900 viewers. New show ‘The Place To Eat’ at 19:30 registered 10,300 viewers. ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai’ at 22:00 drew in 4,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kaisay Tum Say Kahoon’ at 20:00 and ‘Dastaan’ at 21:00 both pulled in 85,200 viewers each. The latter show had a higher peak with 111,500 viewers. ‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:00 attracted 37,100 viewers and ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 19:30 got 35,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ remained the undisputed leading show with 123,100 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 116,300 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 114,300 viewers. ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ at 20:00 pulled in 39,800 viewers and Urdu drama ‘Mera Naam Yousuf Hai’ got 32,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ topped ratings with 41,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Naagin’ at 19:00 with 37,100 viewers and movie ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ at 15:30 with 26,800 viewers. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 fetched 23,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ at 20:30 raked in 2,600 viewers, followed by ‘Code Red’ at 21:30 with 1,400 viewers and ‘Nail Polish’ at 19:30 with 1,000 viewers.

On SAB TV, ‘Badi Door Se Aaye Hai’ at 18:00 was top show with 4,600 viewers, followed by movie ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ at 20:00 with 2,000 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Bollywood Families’ at 19:00 topped ratings with 12,100 viewers, followed by ‘Look Who Is Talking’ at 19:30 with 11,500 viewers and ‘The Film Show’ at 20:00 with 4,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 took lead with 27,800 viewers, followed by ‘Beshar Momim’ at 21:00 with 6,100 viewers and ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ at 20:00 with 4,800 viewers.
