Overnights: &TV gathers pace in UK ratings

Britain’s newest Hindi entertainment channel, &TV has gathered pace in UK Asian TV ratings, with some slots during primetime last night beating the likes of Colors & Rishtey.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Razia Sultan’ at 19:00 topped ratings with its biggest ratings since launch on Monday with 18,400 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 12,500 viewers and ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 12,400 viewers. ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun?’ at 21:00 picked up too with 10,900 viewers.

Comparatively, on Rishtey, the biggest show on the channel was ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 18,800 viewers, followed by ‘Warrior High’ with 7,900 viewers and ‘Laado’ at 21:30 with 4,900 viewers.

Sister station, Colors’ most watched show was ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 raked in 34,800 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 with 22,800 viewers and ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 21,400 viewers.

Star Plus continued its lead with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ back on top at 19:30 with 143,000 viewers, followed by ‘Masterchef India’ at 21:30 with 131,400 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 102,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sheher-E-Zaat’ at 21:00 was top with 59,200 viewers, followed by ‘Aye Zindagi’ at 20:00 with 29,700 viewers and repeat of ‘Dayar-E-Dil’ at 22:00 with 20,200 viewers.
