Overnights: &TV fictions shoot up on Monday

While movies are working a treat on &TV UK, its fictions needed a boost and they got exactly that in last night’s ratings.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, two of its primetime fictions ‘Gangaa’ and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ registered record ratings. ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 was watched by 63,400 viewers – peaking at 75,200 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 46,200 viewers. Other shows did not do quite as well yesterday. ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:00 and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:30 raked in around 5,000 viewers each.

On Star Plus, the afternoon band was led by ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’ at 14:30 with 38,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 14:00 with 36,700 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 15:00 with 27,100 viewers. The primetime band witnessed ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ taking a jump in ratings with 146,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 133,200 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 129,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ took lead with 40,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 with 39,200 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 37,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ remained first choice on the channel with 100,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Laado’ at 19:00 with 57,400 viewers and ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 49,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘RuBaru’ at 21:00 opened up with 72,100 viewers, followed by ‘Maan’ at 20:00 with 69,800 viewers and ‘Ishq Benam’ at 19:30 with 31,300 viewers. ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ at 22:00 raked in 26,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Ali Ki Amma’ at 20:00 did well with 51,000 viewers, followed by ‘Sada Sukhi Raho’ at 19:30 with 44,100 viewers.
