Overnights: ‘Tu Sooraj Mein…’ takes lead in Star Plus Dopahar

Star Plus’ afternoon slot has worked wonders for the channel, with the original offerings proving a huge success, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The biggest show of the afternoon on UK Asian TV on Monday was ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’, which clocked up 46,400 viewers at 13:00 – peaking at 57,400 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ at 13:30 with 28,200 viewers and ‘Meri Durga’ at 12:30 with 26,900 viewers. New show ‘Love Ka Hai Intezar’ at 14:30 opened up with around 9,000 viewers.

The biggest show of the primetime slot was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 105,900 viewers, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 104,800 viewers and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 90,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Udann’ fetched 29,600 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 with 21,000 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 17,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 led with 34,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kairi’ at 19:00 with 21,700 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 13,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 pulled in 26,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 12,800 viewers and ‘Chupke Chupke’ at 21:30 with 10,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Aisay Jalay Jiya’ at 21:00 topped ratings with 71,800 viewers, followed by ‘Mohabbat Khwab Safar’ at 22:00 with 58,600 viewers and ‘Yeh Raha Dil’ at 20:00 with 52,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Khaali Haath’ at 20:00 raked in 19,100 viewers.
