Overnights: TOIFA 2016 on &TV peaks at 100k on Sunday

ZEE Network’s decision to premiere this year’s Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA) on &TV has proved a good move after peaking with over 100k viewers on Sunday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The event, which was held in March was exclusively shown on &TV between 20:00 – 23:00 last night with 56,500 viewers – peaking at 102,000 viewers. This was the most watched non-fiction show on Sunday all-day. The event featured Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, amongst many others. TOIFA 2016 also trended on Twitter last night in the UK.

Also on &TV, movie ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ at 15:30 was watched by 6,700 viewers, followed by ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ with 6,200 viewers at 19:00 and ‘Haider’ at 12:30 with 2,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ topped ratings with 145,300 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 124,200 viewers and ‘Siya Ke Ram’ at 20:00 with 101,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘India’s Got Talent 7’ at 21:00 delivered 12,800 viewers, followed by ‘Naagin’ at 19:00 with 6,900 viewers and ‘Comedy Nights Live’ at 22:30 with 5,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 17,400 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 15,300 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 15,100 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Star Struck’ at 19:00 was on top with 8,100 viewers, followed by ‘The Film Show’ at 20:00 with 6,200 viewers and ‘Silver Screen’ at 19:30 with 5,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Udaari’ at 20:00 pulled in 42,400 viewers, followed by ‘Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu’ at 21:00 with 39,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Khuda Gar Dil Main Ho’ at 22:00 raked in 13,900 viewers, followed by ‘Shaam Dhalay’ at 21:00 with 9,900 viewers. New show ‘Mor Mahal’ at 20:00 could only muster in around 1,000 viewers.
