Overnights: Three shows vie for top spot on Colors

It was a good night for Colors last night, not only did it take the second spot (after Star Plus) as the most watched Asian TV channel in the UK, three of its primetime shows performed well too.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, it was a close fight between the 20:30 – 22:00 shows with ‘Rangrasiya’ edging out the other two shows. The 21:30 drama pulled in 83,500 viewers – peaking at 132,400 viewers, closely followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ (81,500) and ‘Madhubala’ (80,000).

However, Star Plus dominated the ratings with ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ continuing to lead with 208,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 181,400 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ next with 164,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ was top with 58,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 55,400 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Welcome 2’ did well once again with 49,900 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ at 21:15 with 48,700 viewers and ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ next with 22,500 viewers.
