'SaraswatiChandra' continues to do well for Star Plus

Three shows on Star Plus were inches apart to claim the top position in the UK but ultimately, it was ‘SaraswatiChandra’ that walked away with the prize.

‘SaraswatiChandra’ at 19:30 pulled 225,700 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 222,000 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ at 20:00 with 220,000 viewers. There was a mere 2-3,000 viewers separating each show.

The others were ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (178,000), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (164,900), ‘Saathiya’ (161,900), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (157,500) and ‘Veer’ (123,800).

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ was the most watched show with 36,700 viewers at 20:00. ‘Amrit Manthan’ at 19:30 pulled in 24,800 viewers and ‘Junoon’ at 21:30 with 13,500. New series ‘2613’ got 10,300. The ‘Welcome’ replacement ‘Ek Thi Naayka’ at 22:00 pulled in 6,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ was the channel’s most watched show with 91,000. In second was ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 86,800 viewers, followed by ‘Jeevan Saathi’ with 58,400. The new series ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ at 19:30 launched with 32,000 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ at 22:30 attracted 5,200 viewers. The earlier 18:30 episode rated zero. ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 got 7,800 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ at 16:00 got one of the best ratings with 55,200 viewers. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ pulled in 47,700 viewers and ‘BaalVeer’ got 40,700.
