Overnights: ‘The Bachelorette India’ on record high

Reality television show ‘The Bachelorette India’ has hit a record high in UK ratings for Star Life Ok, according to exclusive obtained by BizAsia for last night.

The show in which, Mallika Sherawat has been searching for a love interest, attracted the biggest ever viewership with 96,600 viewers tuning at 21:30 – peaking at 134,600 viewers. The Grand Finale tonight, will no doubt get an even larger audience. ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:30 pulled in 49,100 viewers.

On flagship channel, Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ reigned the ratings overall on UK Asian television with 220,000 viewers, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 165,000 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ in third with 143,500 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (142,900), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (140,600), ‘Saathiya’ (138,700), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (94,700), ‘Veera’ (74,600), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (55,200) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (32,000).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was most watched last night on the channel with 112,800 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 54,400 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ in third with 26,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ led the ratings on the channel with 109,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was next with 84,600 viewers and ‘Parichay’ in third with 79,700 viewers.
