Overnights: Sushant’s news story puts Aaj Tak at No.1 on Wednesday in UK

The ongoing developments in the Sushant Singh Rajput death story put Aaj Tak at No.1 in UK ratings on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Aaj Tak was the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster with a share of 0.12%, followed by Star Plus and Sony TV with 0.11%, New Vision TV and Republic Bharat with 0.06%, Colors Rishtey and NDTV 24×7 with 0.05%, Colors and B4U Movies with 0.04%, Star Gold, Star Bharat, Dunya News, PTC Punjabi, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.02%. Geo TV and Hum TV clocked up a share of 0.01%.

Aaj Tak’s strongest time bands on Wednesday were at 14:30 and 15:00, with an audience of 30,000 viewers. The channel also performed strongly at 21:00.

On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ led with 45,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 35,900 viewers, ‘Cook Smart’ at 12:30 with 24,300 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahtein’ at 19:30 with 21,300 viewers, ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:30 with 20,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 12,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 8,700 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 3,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ was watched by 41,300 viewers, followed by ‘Indian Idol 11’ at 18:00 with 36,800 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 33,000 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Rasoi Show’ at 16:30 led with 24,700 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ was watched by 9,900 viewers at 17:30.
