Overnights: Stardust Awards tops Colors on Sunday

The Stardust Awards 2016 proved an average success for Colors in UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Coverage of the star-studded event started at 19:00 and continued through until 22:30 – delivered an average 61,600 viewers – peaking at 95,400 viewers. Unfortunately, ratings for channel driver ‘Bigg Boss 9’ were dented due to the shift of the show to 22:30. It could only manage 11,100 viewers – a far cry from the 100,000 viewers that tuned in on Saturday night in its usual 21:00 slot.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ remained the most watched show with 154,000 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 103,700 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 92,100 viewers. The final episode of ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’ at 20:00 bowed out with 65,100 viewers and Urdu show ‘Mera Naam Yousuf Hai’ at 22:00 also pulled in 65,100 viewers.

On PTC Punjabi, movie premiere ‘Shareek’ did very well with 30,200 viewers at 20:00. The channel has done well recently with its movie screenings. Recently, the premiere of ‘Sardaar Ji’ delivered over 50,000 viewers during the festive holidays.

On Hum TV, ‘Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai’ claimed back lead with 55,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Abro’ at 20:00 with 28,200 viewers and ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 19:30 with 21,400 viewers. ‘Tere Mere Beech’ at 22:00 attracted 19,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ topped ratings with 13,000 viewers, followed by ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ at 20:00 with 12,300 viewers and ‘Bashar Momin’ at 21:00 with 5,000 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 was top show with 12,700 viewers, followed by ‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’ at 20:00 with 4,200 viewers and ‘The Place To Eat’ at 19:30 with 3,100 viewers. Movie ‘Lakshya’ at 16:00 raked in 2,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, movie ‘Boss’ at 18:30 managed to rake in 14,900 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ at 20:00 registered 7,700 viewers.
