Overnights: Star Screen Awards 2016 tops Sunday
Star Plus was the top choice for entertainment on Sunday night with ‘Star Screen Awards 2016’ proving a success in ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The four-hour broadcast kicked off with ‘Star Screen Awards – Red Carpet’ at 20:00 with 115,700 viewers, while the main event at 20:30 averaged with 78,500 viewers – peaking at 148,400 viewers up until midnight. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 was top fiction with 116,500 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ next with 109,800 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Naagin’ topped ratings with 63,400 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 20:00 with 36,m500 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 21:00 with 6,700 viewers. The final episode of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ bowed out with just 3,900 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led with 24,500 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Laado’ at 19:00 with 18,100 viewers and ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 wit 14,100 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai’ at 21:00 registered 79,100 viewers, followed by ‘Tere Mere Beech’ at 22:00 with 44,600 viewers and ‘Abro’ at 20:00 with 40,700 viewers.
On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 delivered 46,800 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Mujhe Kuch Kenha Hai’ at 23:00 with 29,200 viewers and ‘Saari Bhool Hamari Thi’ at 22:00 with 21,100 viewers. ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ at 20:00 with 13,000 viewers.
On UMP Movies, ‘Shaandaar’ repeat telecast attracted 21,800 viewers at 18:15.
On &TV, ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 registered 16,000 viewers, followed by movie ‘Chennai Express’ at 12:00 with 4,200 viewers and ‘The Place To Eat’ at 19:30 with 2,700 viewers.
On SAB TV, movie ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ brought in 4,400 viewers at 16:00.
