‘MasterChef India 4’ on Star Plus

The schedule tweaks on Star Plus to coincide with the launch of ‘MasterChef India’ last night have proved well in the first batch of overnight ratings.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the first episode of ‘Masterchef India’ series 4 at 21:30 pulled in 101,400 viewers – peaking at 130,300 viewers. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, which moved to 22:30 witnessed a slight decline in its ratings with 65,200 viewers. However, it was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00, which remained top with 177,600 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ in second with 128,300 viewers.

In some good news for the channel, Star Plus’ experiment to extend its original shows to 17:00 with ‘Veera’ did very well. ‘Veera’ at 17:00 raked in 86,000 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ (one-hour) at 17:30 registered 54,200 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ brought in record high ratings at 18:30 with 98,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ at 21:00 pulled in 106,800 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 44,900 viewers, ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 42,900 viewers and ‘Udaan’ at 20:00 garnered 40,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 topped ratings with 88,200 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 56,200 viewers and ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ at 19:00 with 47,900 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 took lead with 25,300 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 12,400 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Ek Pal’ at 20:00 was top with 66,400 viewers, followed by ‘Badi Aapa’ at 21:00 with 60,600 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Aap Ki Kaneez’ at 20:00 raked in 14,600 viewers.

On Prime TV, ‘Siyasi Theatre’ at 22:00 registered 4,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kal Tak’ at 21:00 with 4,100 viewers.

On Venus TV, ‘Qanoon Aur Aap’ at 18:00 was top show with 6,300 viewers.
