Overnights: Star Plus trounces rivals on Wednesday in UK

Star Plus jumped in UK ratings on Wednesday, extending its lead over Colors, Sony TV and ZEE TV, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus clocked up a share of 0.27%, while Colors raked in 0.04%, Sony TV with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%. Hum TV and Hum Masala did better with 0.08% each.

Star Plus’ biggest show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 139,200 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 89,700 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 89,400 viewers.

Hum TV’s top rated show was ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 31,700 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 10:30 with 30,100 viewers and ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 26,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ attracted 35,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 20,300 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 19:00 with 19,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ raked in 28,600 viewers, followed by ‘Ganesh’ at 20:00 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Porus’ at 20:30 with 10,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, re-run of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 22:00 fetched 13,600 viewers, followed by ‘Piyaa Albela’ repeat at 10,700 viewers and ‘ZEE News’ at 17:00 with 8,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Laut Kay Chalay Aana’ at 20:00 pulled in 23,000 viewers. The channel was up in share also with 0.04%.
