Overnights: Star Plus trounces rivals on Sunday in UK
Star Plus dominated ratings on Sunday night beating Colors, Hum TV Europe and Rishtey to the top.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Private Investigator’ at 20:00 was top show with 63,200 viewers – peaking at 78,000 viewers, followed by the UK television premiere of ‘Action Jackson’ at 21:00 with 42,900 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ was top show with 59,000 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ with 24,800 viewers and ‘Farah Ki Dawat’ at 20:00 with 10,400 viewers. New UK show ‘Desi Beats’ started off slow with 8,000 viewers at 19:30.
On Rishtey, ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’ wast top rated show during primetime with just 1,800 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Humsafar’ at 21:00 remained top choice with 45,100 viewers, followed by ‘Nikkah’ at 20:00 with 31,400 viewers.
On Venus TV, last week’s recorded London show of singer Naseebo Lal attracted around 1,000 viewers at 20:00.
