Overnights: Star Plus tops on Monday; Sony TV & Colors joint second in UK

Star Plus topped Monday’s UK ratings, while Sony Entertainment Television and Colors were a distant joint No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus was by far the biggest Asian TV channel in UK ratings on Monday with ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ taking the lead with 95,400 viewers, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 84,100 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 63,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 60,100 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 40,300 viewers, ‘Veera’ re-run at 13:00 with 37,400 viewers and ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ re-run at 15:00 with 25,900 viewers. Surprisingly, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ crashed to a low with 22,300 viewers – due to a repeat telecast of Friday’s episode. The Maha Episode of ‘Nazar’ at 22:00 was watched by 18,200 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ pulled in 32,700 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 25,700 viewers and ‘Best Of Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 23,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ at 21:00 got one of its biggest weekday ratings with 76,700 viewers, followed by ‘Dastaan-e-Mohabbat’ at 20:30 with 20,200 viewers and ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 with 17,400 viewers. ‘Sitaara’ opened up with 3,600 viewers at 22:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Mann Mayal’ at 21:00 attracted 22,100 viewers, followed by ‘Aatish’ at 20:00 with 13,000 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ raked in 24,100 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 14,000 viewers and ‘Ye Teri Galiyan’ at 19:30 with 8,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 was top show with 17,100 viewers, followed by ‘The Great Indian Global Kitchen’ at 17:30 with 11,000 viewers. ‘Tantra’ launched with 3,000 viewers.

  1. Could you update your article because yesterday in india ye hai mohabbatein wasn’t on due to maha episode of nazar so Star Plus aired a repeat of friday’s episode which meant no one would watch it
