Star Plus ended 2014 on a high in the UK with its ever dependable ‘Big Star Entertainment Awards’ outstripping rival shows, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The four-hour coverage of ‘Big Star Entertainment Awards’ started with Red Carpet event at 20:00 attracted 94,500 viewers, followed by the Main Event at 20:30, which did very well with 96,300 viewers – peaking at 135,700 viewers. Earlier in the evening, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 on the channel pulled in 58,300 viewers.

On UMP Movies, the 90s blockbuster ‘Khuda Gawah’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi at 17:15 registered 11,600 viewers, followed by ‘Hate Story 2’ at 21:00 with 6,500 viewers.

On DM Global, movie ‘Baghban’ at 17:20 recorded around 100 viewers, while its first New Years Eve special at 19:00 registered 400 viewers and its later edition at 21:30 attracting around 200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ at 21:00 continued to do well with 116,300 viewers, while its New Years Eve offering ‘Got Talent World Stage Live’ at 22:00 recorded just 42,600 viewers. The show’s ratings likely to have suffered in its ratings due to incorrect labeling on the channel’s EPG.

On PTC Punjabi, ‘Balle Balle 2015’ at 19:30 pulled in 13,900 viewers, followed by ‘Nachange Saari Raat’ at 21:30 with 13,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, the biggest show on the channel was ‘Meri Maa’ at 17:00 recorded 7,800 viewers, while ‘Malika-E-Aliya’ at 14:00 mustered in 1,900 viewers. Other day parts on the channel recorded a near zero rating.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Tum Mere Hi Rehna’ at 20:00 pulled in 47,200 viewers, followed by ‘Darbadar Tere Liye’ at 21:00 pulled in 35,200 viewers and ‘Sasural Mera’ at 19:30 recorded 31,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ led ratings with 34,500 viewers, followed by ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ at 19:00 with 25,400 viewers and ‘Parichay’ in third with 22,800 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ did well with 26,400 viewers, followed by ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 recorded 18,900 viewers and ‘Mahakumbh’ at 20:00 mustered in 12,000 viewers.
