Overnights: Star Plus surges; Sony TV remains ahead of ZEE TV

Star Plus continued to add viewers despite competition from rival broadcasters on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

For the first time ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ took the No.1 position and saw its audience surge pass the 100k mark. It was watched by 122,400 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 133,700 viewers, followed by ‘Naakarann’ at 21:00 with 102,900 viewers, ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 69,400 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Moabbatein’ at 19:30 with 69,000 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Meri Durga’ impressed with 50,200 viewers at 12:30.

On ZEE TV, ‘Piyaa Albela’ returned to the top with 21,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Woh Apna Sa’ at 19:30 with 11,100 viewers and ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ at 20:30 with 4,900 viewers. The channel’s overall all-day share stood at 0.03%.

On Sony TV, ‘Hanuman’ at 20:00 attracted 14,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ at 19:00 with 14,400 viewers and ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi’ at 21:30 with 9,900 viewers. The channel’s overall all-day share stood at 0.04%.

Sony MAX beat ZEE Cinema in ratings last night with ‘All Is Well’ on top with 4,500 viewers, followed by ‘Dhoom’ at 20:00 with 3,800 viewers and ‘Parineeta’ at 14:06 with 3,500 viewers. ZEE Cinema averaged with a mostly zero rating with ‘Awara’ at midday pulling in just 1,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 delivered 26,900 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 21:00 with 12,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Kasam’ topped ratings with 61,600 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 56,200 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 38,200 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Agnifera’ at 19:00 led with 7,300 viewers, followed by ‘Krishna’ at 19:30 with 6,100 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 18:30 with 4,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’ at 20:00 attracted 43,200 viewers, followed by ‘Aadhi Gawahi’ at 22:00 with 41,300 viewers and ‘Halki Si Khalish’ at 21:00 with 36,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Hiddat’ at 21:00 was watched by 11,900 viewers, followed by ‘Laut Kay Chalay Aana’ at 20:00 with 7,700 viewers.
