Overnights: Star Plus stays top; ZEE TV & Sony TV plunge on Boxing Day

Most Asian TV channels suffered a blow in UK ratings on Boxing Day Tuesday, with ZEE TV and Sony Entertainment Television plunging to a new low, while Star Plus stayed top, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ ratings also fell considerably to a share of 0.13% with ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 leading. It was watched by 83,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 77,400 viewers and ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ at 22:00 was in third with 54,600 viewers.

ZEE TV scored an abysmal zero share, while Sony Entertainment Television also dropped to a share of just 0.01%. ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 21:00 was top show on ZEE TV with just 2,800 viewers. ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 led Sony TV with 14,300 viewers.

Colors was also down with a share of 0.03% with ‘Bigg Boss 11’ on top. It was watched by 45,600 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 26,800 viewers.

Hum TV was placed in second place overall with a share of 0.06%. Its top show was ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 40,400 viewers. Sister channel, Hum Masala was in third place with a share of 0.04%.

On &TV, ‘Agnifera’ was back in the lead with 25,400 viewers at 20:00.
