Overnights: Star Plus stays top in UK on Friday; Sony TV at No.2

Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel on Friday, while Sony TV was in a distant second place, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share was at 0.21% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ in pole position with 75,000 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Ishqbaaaz’ with 61,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ with 56,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 54,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 52,800 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 41,000 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 35,000 viewers and ‘Nazar’ at 21:30 with 30,500 viewers.

Sony TV’s share also propelled to 0.09% with ‘Crime Patrol’ pulling in 35,300 viewers at 23:00, followed by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ with 22,900 viewers at 21:00 and ‘Best Of Crime Patrol’ at midnight with 13,500 viewers.

New Vision TV was the UK’s most popular South Asian news channel with a share of 0.08%. Its top show on Friday was ‘Aitraaz Hai’ at 21:15 with 21,700 viewers.

Geo TV and Star Bharat were next with a share of 0.05%. Geo TV’s biggest show was ‘Rubaru Ishq Tha’ at 18:00 with 17,400 viewers, while ‘Jiji Maa’ ruled Star Bharat with 33,400 viewers at 19:30.

Colors’ share was at 0.03% with ‘Bigg Boss 12’ pulling in 19,200 viewers.

Hum TV fetched a share of 0.03% with ‘Baandi’ on top with 15,300 viewers and ‘Band Khirkiyan’ with 13,600 viewers.

ZEE TV stayed on the low side with a share of 0.02%. Its top show was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ with 10,800 viewers.
