Overnights: Star Plus stays top; Sony MAX & &TV surge on Saturday

Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel on Saturday, while Sony MAX & &TV surged to No.2 and No.3 respectively, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ top rated show on Saturday was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 91,600 viewers, followed by ‘Dance Champions’ at 21:00 with 70,800 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 60,900 viewers.

Sony MAX stayed ahead with ‘3 Idiots’, while the classic movie ‘Ram Lakhan’ on &TV pulled in 26,800 viewers at midday.

Elsewhere, ZEE TV’s top show was ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ at 20:30 with 23,500 viewers.

‘Bigg Boss 11’ also did well on Colors with 52,300 viewers, followed by ‘Dev’ at 22:00 with 19,200 viewers.

‘Tanhaai’ at 21:00 on Hum TV ruled with 19,100 viewers, followed by ‘Khamoshi’ at 20:00 with 10,800 viewers.

On Rishtey Cineplex, movie ‘Gangster’ at 16:00 raked in 18,700 viewers.

On Star Gold, movie premiere ‘A Gentleman’ delivered 28,200 viewers.
