Overnights: Star Plus stays in front; Sony TV at No.2 in UK on Tuesday

Star Plus remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel, even though it continued to face stiff competition from Sony Entertainment Television, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share was at 0.13%, followed by Sony TV with 0.11%, New Vision TV with 0.07%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Colors, PTC Punjabi and Hum TV with 0.04%, ZEE TV, Sony SAB TV, Aaj Tak, Sony MAX 2 and B4U Music with 0.03%, Geo TV with 0.02% and ARY Family with 0.01%.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions on Tuesday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 61,000 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 20:30 and 21:00 with 48,300 viewers each, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 29,800 viewers, ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 24,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 22,600 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 17,600 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 15,100 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 13,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was top show with 53,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 51,500 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 18:45 with 41,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Silsila’ led at 22:00 with 20,100 viewers. ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ at 14:30 was watched by 15,800 viewers, followed by ‘Shakti’ repeat at 14:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mere Humdum’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 15,100 viewers, followed by ‘Log Kia Kahenge’ at 19:00 with 12,100 viewers and ‘Soya Mera Naseeb’ at 19:30 with 8,200 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rajaa Betaa’ led with 11,200 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 11,100 viewers.
