Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold top Wednesday ratings in UK

Star Plus remained the UK’s top Asian TV channel on Wednesday, while Star Gold emerged as the biggest Bollywood film channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.17%, followed by Star Gold with 0.11%, Hum TV with 0.09% and Hum Masala with 0.08%.

Star Plus’ biggest show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 136,700 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 105,400 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 86,100 viewers.

Star Gold’ top film was ‘Khichdi: The Movie’ at 13:45 with 34,200 viewers, followed by ‘Aatish’ at 10:30 with 23,100 viewers and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehta Hain’ at 07:00 with 9,800 viewers.

Hum TV also did well with ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ on top. It was watched by 56,500 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 20:00 with 45,500 viewers and ‘Dar Si Jati Hai Sila’ at 20:00 with 33,000 viewers.

Hum Masala was next with ‘Evening With Shireen’ at 17:00 with 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘Handi’ at 21:00 with 27,100 viewers.

Colors attracted a share of 0.07%, with ‘Bigg Boss 11’ doing extremely well. A huge 84,500 viewers tuned in at 21:00 to watch the latest episode of the show, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 19,600 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television delivered a share of 0.02% with ‘Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya’ at 21:00 on top. It was watched by 19,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ at 22:00 with 18,300 viewers.

ZEE TV managed to rake in a share of 0.01% with ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ re-run at 22:00 leading with 11,300 viewers and ‘Aisi Deewangi’ next at 21:30 pulling in 7,500 viewers.

Geo TV also scored a share of 0.01% with ‘Mubarak Ho Rishta Aaya Hai’ at 23:00 raking in 6,800 viewers.
