Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold share No.1 on Friday in UK
Star Plus and Star Gold shared the No.1 position in UK ratings on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
While Star Plus’ share fell, Star Gold increased its position on the back of three blockbuster movie titles. The channel both delivered a share of 0.14%.
Star Plus, which has a had a disappointing week due to lower than usual figures, remained top of the pecking order. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus at 19:30 was watched by 128,600 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 86,700 viewers and ‘Meri Durga’ at 18:30 with 62,300 viewers.
Star Gold impressed with its blockbuster movie titles including ‘Namak Haraam’, which delivered 34,800 viewers, followed by ‘Betaab’ at 11:45 with 33,500 viewers and ‘Sholay’ at 17:00 with 26,400 viewers.
Hum Masala (0.09%), Prime TV (0.07), ZEE Cinema (0.06%), Sony MAX (0.06%), Hum TV (0.04%) and Sony Entertainment Television (0.04%) also did well.
