Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold rock in UK on Friday

Star Plus’ ratings continued to remain on the higher side in UK ratings on Friday, along with Star Gold, which surged with its bumper list of movies, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus was easily the most watched Asian TV channel on Friday with a share of 0.32%, followed by Hum TV with 0.11% and Star Gold with 0.10%.

The biggest show on Star Plus on Friday was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 150,200 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 121,200 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 118,200 viewers. ‘Naamkarann’ also did well with 108,300 viewers.

Hum TV’s biggest shows on Friday were ‘Neelum Kinaray’ at 21:00 with 66,400 viewers, followed by ‘Oh Rungreza’ at 20:00 with 32,200 viewers.

Star Gold performed well with ‘Sabse Bada Khiladi’ raking in a massive 39,300 viewers at 00:40, followed by ‘Chandni Chowk To India’ at 14:15 and ‘Heyy Baby’ at 17:15 with 13,500 viewers each.

Colors also did well with a share of 0.10%. The top show remained ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 attracting 86,800 viewers, followed by ‘Laado’ repeat at 00:30 with 34,600 viewers and a further 29,600 viewers at 22:00.

Star Bharat and Geo TV both delivered a share of 0.03%, while Sony Entertainment Television and ZEE TV clocked up 0.02% share.
