Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold dominate on Tuesday in UK

Star Network’s Star Plus and Star Gold dominated UK ratings on Tuesday in UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold remained the distant No.1 with an impressive share of 0.25%, followed by Star Plus with 0.14%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.10%, Colors Rishtey with 0.06%, Geo TV and New Vision TV with 0.05%, Hum TV with 0.04%, Colors with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

Star Gold’s coverage of the ongoing Indian Premier League touched a new high yesterday with the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore match pulling in 72,700 viewers at 15:15. It peaked with an audience 107,600 viewers. The repeat telecast of the match was watched by 18,300 viewers at 19:45.

Star Plus was back as the top entertainment channel with ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ proving the biggest ratings success. It was watched by 53,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 47,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 46,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 46,100 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 40,300 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 33,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Ladies Special’ was top show with 45,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 35,700 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 29,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Seerat’ at 21:00 delivered 16,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai’ at 22:00 with 14,100 viewers and ‘Saibaan’ at 19:00 with 10,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Janam Jali’ at 21:00 fetched 16,600 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Humdum’ at 20:00 with 11,900 viewers.
